Windoku candidates

Post by Jeroen »

When I initially paste a valid windoku into SudoCue (in then Windoku variant, off course) and press Markup, not all of the candidates seem to appear???

For example candidates 1 and 7 in R2C1:
.---------------------------.---------------------------.---------------------------.
| 12357 13478 134578 | 6 48 2478 | 9 128 1238 |
| 269 12789 12789 | 5 3 2789 | 4 1268 28 |
| 269 23489 23489 | 48 1 289 | 5 2368 7 |
:---------------------------+---------------------------+---------------------------:
| 4 6 12379 | 178 5 1378 | 18 123789 289 |
| 1237 137 137 | 9 468 14678 | 168 1245678 123458 |
| 8 5 179 | 147 2 1346 | 16 13469 134 |
:---------------------------+---------------------------+---------------------------:

| 15679 1478 14578 | 2 468 14568 | 3 1458 14589 |

Hi Jeroen,

As explained in this Sudopedia article, Windoku has 5 additional groups. SudoCue recognizes these groups and eliminates candidates as a result of placements in these groups.
