While we are waiting for Clueless Explosion 86 I have taken the liberty of reformatting the Black Friday gattai-21 puzzle Ruud posted on www.sudocue.net/special.php July 13, 2007. Why did you delete these sooo soon??? I was just about to tackle this and it's gone! AAAGGGGGG.....? I made a readable ...

SudoCue still loading wrong Daily Lite
I tried loading the Daily Lite puzzles into SudoCue again today using the "Open WWW" feature. This time they're all wrong (at least according to what's on the Daily Lite page of the Web site), and I can't identify the puzzles AT ALL.

Problem with opening Daily Lite
I tried to open the Daily Lite mild puzzle for today from within SudoCue, but instead it's giving me the modest puzzle. The other three (modest, mean, maniac) work as they should. (Pasting the code string works, of course, but using the "Open WWW" feature for that puzzle doesn't.)

A couple of questions for Ruud
1. Is it possible to get the code strings for the first set of Samurai Rehab puzzles?
2. Is there any reason the code strings couldn't be added to the archived Windoku puzzles, as they are with all the other archived puzzles?
3. Where are the One-Trick Ponies since October 6?
Thanks a bunch!

Re: Samurai Rehab Center
However, the puzzles were different last April, as evidenced in a text file I saved of all of the puzzles from April. Is there any way I could get a copy of that text file from you? I thought I had saved the first set of Rehab puzzles, but I'm not finding it, and I haven't located it on the SudoCue...

There is a major overhaul to the printing, which makes it clearer what the print options are, allows multi-grid puzzles to be printed one per page, I'm having trouble with this. Whenever I try to print a multi-grid puzzle (one per page), it prints the numbers from the active grid on ALL the grids (...

I don't understand. Can someone explain this in Dutch? Well, not Dutch, but maybe I can explain this way: Imagine a set of dominoes laid out in a large square. Then imagine that the borders of the dominoes are erased, so that it looks like one giant tile with numbers. Your job is to recreate ...

Re: Christmas Wish List
If I were to ask Santa Claus (Ruud) for anything this Christmas it would be for a Samurai Sudoku generator program that we could then export puzzles into the Helper program. As long as it prints the complete puzzle and each of the constituent grids (separate sheets of paper, of course), I would be ...

Happy Thanksgiving!!
Happy Thanksgiving to all the other Americans here! I'm surprised that no one else is around today. I'm sure it's not a holiday for the rest of the world. Due to some work/family obligations today and tomorrow, we're actually celebrating on Saturday, so I'm spending today getting ready. This year in...

1. I try to scale them to fit the page - I could make standard puzzles bigger on the page, but multi-grid will always be a bit small unless I went for a separate grid on each page. I'll take a look into print scaling options. My primary reason for using Sudoku Solver is to print each grid (with can...

Wish list for SudokuSolver 1. Print puzzles larger (perhaps size could be user-selectable) 2. Print puzzle title or file name 3. Batch print all grids of a multi-grid puzzle 4. Import directly from a file (WITHOUT cut'n'paste). 5. Read from standard Sudoku files (such as .SDC, .SDM, etc.) I keep get...
