SudoCue 2.0.0.x: 3D Medusa.

Post by unkx80 »

This has happened in all SudoCue 2.0.0.x releases, up to and including 2.0.0.3, but I haven't got round in posting this until now.

With almost locked sets and all 3D Medusa techniques enabled, staring from this:

Code: Select all

006200000000004300800035000020000000000000731190000060004053002000700600050082100
By using the very lazy "solving method" of repeatedly pressing F8 and F11, I arrived at this:

Code: Select all

.------------------.------------------.------------------.
| 3459 34 6 | 2 179 1789 | 4589 1589 4589 |
| 259 17 1259 | 89 6 4 | 3 2789 5789 |
| 8 47 29 | 19 3 5 | 49 12479 6 |
:------------------+------------------+------------------:
| 34567 2 3578 | 13458 147 1678 | 4589 4589 4589 |
| 456 468 58 | 4589 2 689 | 7 3 1 |
| 1 9 3578 | 3458 47 78 | 2 6 458 |
:------------------+------------------+------------------:
| 679 168 4 | 169 5 3 | 89 789 2 |
| 239 138 12389| 7 149 19 | 6 4589 34589|
| 3679 5 379 | 469 8 2 | 1 479 3479 |
'------------------'------------------'------------------'
Pressing F8 on this grid yields some 3D Medusa technique (I pesume 3D Medusa complex) produced some coloured digits where I am unable to trace suitable double implication chains, such as the one that eliminates the digit 1 from r4c4. Am I missing something, or is this a bug?

Thanks in advance.
