Scroll/resize bottom of "log" window

Post by David Bryant »

Hi, Ruud!

I really like the SudoCue program. I find the "solve" and "log" features particularly helpful on extremely difficult puzzles. And that brings me around to my wish.

The log is very useful. I especially like the part that displays a more detailed explanation when one clicks on a particular step in the solution process.

The problem is that sometimes the explanation is too big and not all of it is displayed. This is particularly likely to happen when the program announces something like "Placing the value 7 in r1c4 forces the digit 6 into two different cells in row 3."

The detailed explanation shows two forcing chains. But if either one of the chains is very long, it's likely that part of the explanation will be cut off because the bottom section of the log window is just too short.

Could you make the two parts of the log window resizeable? Or can you insert a scroll bar in the grey area at the bottom of the log window? Either one would work for me.

Thanks! dcb
