I was wondering the same thing after some moves you came up with. But sometimes we just overlook the easy when we are doing difficult things. Guess it's just a question of overthinking things.

Don't know whether I've followed your moves correctly - but when I get to your step 79, I see 8 locked in r7c23 for the nonet - > this gives you the naked 6 at r7c7 directly.
