Maybe. But don't forget that joining the forums here is a 2-step process (or at least it was for me). After originally registering, I got this e-mail:Børge wrote:Based on these comments I have since been keeping an eye on the Number of Registered Users posted at the bottom of the main forum page. For a while it has been 262 registered users. Today it is 263. So new users seem to be able to join the forum:
Within 1 hour, I received the second e-mail, notifying me that the account had been activated:Welcome to SudoCue Users Forums
Please keep this email for your records. Your account information is as follows:
----------------------------
Username: mhparker
Password: dummy1
----------------------------
Your account is currently inactive, the administrator of the board will need to activate it before you can log in. You will receive another email when this has occured.
Please do not forget your password as it has been encrypted in our database and we cannot retrieve it for you. However, should you forget your password you can request a new one which will be activated in the same way as this account.
Thank you for registering.

Thanks, Ruud
I assume from these messages that the first step is fully automated, whereas the second step requires some manual intervention by the board administrator. I also assume that the user count is incremented directly after the first step, because in the past we've had one or two spam users registering (see here), and the user count has actually gone down after Ruud cleaned them up. So I fear that, although the user count is increasing here, none of the new members are able to make any posts because their accounts are not being activated.Hello mhparker,
Your account on "SudoCue Users" has now been activated, you may login using the username and password you received in a previous email.

Thanks, Ruud
Can anyone with BB admin experience confirm or deny the above assumptions? If so, thanks in advance.
